In the morning, we drive to visit Wangjiang Tower Park, which is located on the southbank of the Jinjiang River. Wangjiang Tower is the bamboo theme park, dedicated to Xue Tao, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty and after whom the park is named. Then visit of the Sichuan University Museum. It is the first museum within a college and university campus in China. The museum was founded in 1914 and currently houses over 40,000 cultural relics. The collections on show are extremely diverse, from costumes and artifacts from minorities in Sichuan Province to sculptures, paintings, calligraphic works and artworks from the past dynasties. In the afternoon, drive to visit Yongling Mausoleum (The Tomb of Wang Jian), who was a general of the Tang Dynasty. In 907, Wangjian established the Former Shu Kingdom and capitalized Chengdu at the fall of Tang Dynasty. Then we drive to visit the Shu Brocade Museum (Shu Jiang Jin Yuan) to explore the manufacture and of Shu Brocade and Embroidery, which is one of the four famous brocades embroideries in China.
