Day02 Chengdu – Ya’an – Kangding BLD
After breakfast, drive to Ya’an along Chengya Highway. Visit of Shangli Old Town and giant panda at China Giant Panda Breeding and Research Institute in the Bifeng Xia Gorge (Green Peak Gorge) en route. Keep driving on the Sichuan – Tibet National Highway 318 to Kangding. Passing by Tianquan, cross Erlang Mountain to Luding and then get to Kangding. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful rural views of Western Sichuan and the Grand Canyon of the Qingyi River. Overnight at 3*Kalakal Hotel

Day03 Kangding - Mugetso BLD
Get up early in the morning. Get a nice far view on the Paoma mountain (Riding Horse Mountain), and go to receive good prayer at the Tibetan Anjue monastery. After lunch drive 38 kilometers to Mugecuo Natural Reserve (3777 m over sea level）. Along the way we can find these plateau vegetation situated almost vertically from big and tall woods to short and low bushes and grass, a piece of art by god and a respect to the rules of nature. We will finally arrive the Wild Man Lake (Ye Ren Hai) and set up our camp after an excursion around the lake. Camping

Day04 Trekking Mugetso – Gyampashe BLD
After breakfast at camp we will commence our trekking. An upwards track along a freshwater stream will take us to the Red Lake called Jiajia La, afterwards we will cross over a 4,165 m high mountain pass and keep moving by the Sela LongPa River descend for 2km before we reach the 4245m high Seha La Mountain. Crossing the mountain before we reach the multi-colored Lake where we will have a break. Our camp site at Gyampashe is not far away ahead of us. The first day trek today is a combination of natural things, from these big and small lakes dotted around, to the open and flat grassland and the meadows. The local Tibetans feed their animals, a great getaway from modern things, no telephones, no rush of crowds, no depressive work pressure. Day05 Trekking Gyampashe - Shamlung BLD
Leave Jiangbashe, there are broad grasslands around and snowy peaks rising in distance. We will cross a little brook and tramping on the grass. On our way, big and small Mani pile with vivid Buddhist faith sculptures and coloured prayer flags will greet us now and then. If the weather is good, we can far view the mighty Yala Holy Mountain rising 5,820m high in distance. Set up our camp at Shamlung. Camping

Day06 Trekking Shamlung – Yala mountain BLD
Leave our camp in the morning. Today’s our destination is the holy Yala. The trekking starts along the Lazhagongma Chu (river) till its source before crossing over a mountain pass at 4700m over sea level, trek down and entry the Yala Gully, along which we will finally arrive to our camp rightly at the foot of the holy Yala. Day07 Trekking Yala – Yala Cha Chu (river), drive to Danba BLD
After a walk around our camp, enjoy the spectacular view on Yala. We gear up for the last day of trekking. The trekking track will lead us to Yala Cha Chu, the inner core area of Yala has so much to offer us, snowy water falls cascading to the holy lake around numerous Buddhist prayer plages, birds singing echos in the valley, what a genuine scene of Shangbala. Trek into the picturesque Tai Chan Valley until we meet our driver again by the main road to Danba. Transfer to Danba and check in a guesthouse run by local Tibetan’s in Jiaju Village.

Day08 Danba - Mahuanggou valley in Baoxing BLD
Get up early，visit of Jiaju Tibetan village, then drive to Suopo to view the ancient block towers. After lunch, drive to Dawei via Xiaojin, get over Jiajin mountain, and then arrive at the foot of Mahuanggou valley. Overnight at Mahuanggou guest house

Day09 Mahuanggou valley – Dengcigou valley – Ya’an - Chengdu BL
After breakfast, drive to Dengcigou for the old Catholic chapel, which was built by a French missionary in AD 1839. It was in this church that, in 1869, its fourth priest Armand David saw a giant panda and let the rest of the world knows this amazing animal exists. After lunch in Baoxing, drive back to Chengdu. Overnight at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou
