Day02 Chengdu – Kangding BLD
Leave in the morning for Kangding. En route at Yaan, the famous rainy city, we will visit the Giant Panda Breeding Centre and Reserch Institute, the home of many giant pandas moved from Wolong Preserve after the 2008 May Eearthquake hit. In addition, we will make a short visit to Shangli ancient town in an extremely serene and beautiful surroundings. In the mid afternoon we will drive accross the Tunnel of Erlang Mountain, the mountain was traditionally the natural limits of Han Chinese villages and the Tibetan communities. Arrival in Kangding, the capital of Ganzi Zang (Tibetan) Autonomous Prefecture and an important juncture of Tibetan and Han People in history. 1N at 3*Kalakal Hotel

Day03 Kangding – Litang (294km) BLD
We drive on the zigzag road up to the mountain chain of Hengduanshan (Mt. Blocks), which extends from the north to the south. Looking out the window of your car, from where the snowy mountains, glaciers and high land lakes form a charmful picture in your eyes. First we cross the 4298 m high beautiful Zheduo Mountain, then to “the Paradise of the photographers “- Xinduqiao. After short photo break we drive to the city of Yajiang and enter the Yalong river ravine, beautiful Jianziwan (4658 m), in the afternoon arrival in the “world highland city" Litang (4014 m) which is the homeland of the 7th Dalai Lama. Upon arrival, we visit Changqingchunke'er Monastery (also admits as Litang monastery) in the western suburb. The Litang Monastery, developed by the 3.th Dalai Lama in the year 1580, has become the largest monastery of the Gelukpa Sect in south Kham. 1N at simple Gaocheng Hotel

Day04 Litang – Reke County BLD
Drive to Reke County, where we hire some porters and packing horses. Camping

Day05 Reke – Lengda (trekking) BLD
Start from Reke in the morning. Trek through the villages of Geze and Naiqianduo along the Rediqu River and reach Lengda Village at the foot of Mt. Genyen, where we visit Lenggu Monastery, Lengda Waterfall and Tiger Skin Lawn. Camping

Day06 Lengda – Naibogunba (trekking) BLD
Trek against the Gengatong River in the northeast of the Holy Mt. Genyen. Camping

Day07-9 Naibogunba – Reti (trekking) BLD
Trek northward along the Buma River valley and cross over one pass (4500 meters) of the Shaluli Shan and then trek from north to south along the Chaxibu River, which is on the west of Mt. Genyen and end the trekking at Reti Grassland in the southwest of the holy mountain. During the three days, we have to walk through two valleys and cross over the Shaluli Shan. What a tough job. Anyhow, the lush forest, grand waterfalls, and mysterious caves will make you always enjoy it and forget trial and tiredness. Camping

Day10 Reti – Chasongxi (trekking) BLD
Trek on the broad grassland along the Reti River and reach Chasongxi via Chemumala. The hot springs on the way are so nice and you can drink it or take a bath in it. Camping

Day11 Chasongxi – Zhangla (trekking) BLD
Keep on trekking along the Redi River and reach Zhangla via Lengda and Naiqianduo. The dense forests and dark green grassland make the air extremely fresh. Camping

Day12 Zhangla – Reke – Litang BLD
Trek for Reke Village, from which drive back to Litang County. 1N at simple Gaocheng Hotel

Day13 Litang – Xinduqiao – Kangding BLD
Wake up in the late morning and leave for Kangding. Have a lunch on the way at Xinduqiao. After crossing the zigzaging Zheduo Mountain, we arrive in Kangding and have some spare time for shopping etc. in Kangding. 1N at 3*Kalakal Hotel

Day14 Kangding – Yaan – Chengdu BLD
Drive back to Chengdu on the same way where we came from. A good farewell dinner in Chengdu will be arranged by our host at a fine local restaurant. 1N at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou

Day15 Leave Chengdu B
Check out and escort to airport for departure flight. End of the unforgettable trekking tour.
