Day01 Chengdu - Wolong - Danba Drive to Danba via Wolong. We can visit Wolong National Nature Reserve, a protected area located in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China. Established in 1963, the reserve covers an area of about 200,000 hectares in the Qionglai Mountains region. There are over 4,000 different species recorded in the reserve. Wolong National Nature Reserve houses more than 150 highly endangered giant pandas. The reserve is also a home to many other endangered species including: red pandas, golden monkeys, white-lipped deer and many precious plants. Day02 Danba In the morning walking and visit in the Jiaju village. More than one hundred buildings keep the same architectural style with a complete and unique character of Jiarong Tibetan residences. Under the blue sky, the Tibetan residences decorated in red, white and black are strewed at random but also in order from the bottom to the middle slope of the valley. Danba is claimed to be the Kingdom of Thousands of Ancient Blockhouses. Today we will visit the Suopo village first, the "land of 1000 fort towers". They were made of clay and block and look fine from outside with solid thick walls. Then visit another beautiful village Zhonglu. Overnight at 3*318 Hotel Day03 Danba - Jinchuan - Guangyingqiao - Seda In the morning drive to Seda (Serthar, Sertal) via Jinchuan and Guangyingqiao, enjoy the landscape of canyon scenery in Jinchuan, visit the block towers and Guangyin Temple. In the evening arrive in Seda, the real cultural and religious center for the Tibetans living in Sichuan. 390km, 8h. Overnight at 2*Kalong Hotel Day04 Seda Today, we visit the Larung Gar Monastery of the Nyingmapa Sect. The Wuming Buddhist College of Larung Gar, located in the valley about 20km away from Seda downtown, is the biggest Vajrayana Buddhist College in the world. The Wuming Buddhist College of Larung Gar is also one of the largest and most active Buddhist Colleges of the whole Tibetan Plateau. Early in the morning, guided by a monk, take part in the morning recitation, and learn how to chant scriptures replique montre de luxe and meditate. And also take part in other activities, such as offering the butter lamps, visiting mountain of dharma protector, hanging prayer flags and doing prostration at Mandala. If the weather is fine, we can enjoy the landscape of the sunset at the grandiose Larung Gar, the night scene is also phantastic. Following the guide, we can visit the place of the sky burial. And we can take more beautiful photos of the Larung Gar Monastery at the top of the mountain. In the evening take part in the evening recitation to chant scriptures and meditate. Overnight at 2*Kalong Hotel Day05 Seda - Luhuo - Dawu - Bamei - Tagong Si - Xinduqiao In the morning, drive to Xinduqiao via Luhuo, Dawu (Daofu, Tawu), Bamei and Tagong. On the way, we’ll visit the local nice houses at Dawu. In Tagong visit the Lhagang Monastery (Tagong Si) of Sayka Sect, which is surrounded by three hills symbolizing three Bodhisattvas. If the weather is fine, we can take view of the Yala Mountain. In the evening we reach Xinduqiao, a small town on the road juncture where the northern route of Sichuan-Tibet Highway (Chengdu - Lhasa) and the southern route of Sichuan-Tibet Highway (Chengdu - Lhasa) meet, here take photos of the landscape of the sunset. If the weather allows, we can enjoy a grandiose view of Gongga Mountain. 374km, 9h. Overnight at 3*318 Hotel Day06 Xinduqiao - Kangding - Ya'an - Chengdu In the morning, take photos of the landscape of the sunrise at Xinduqiao, then drive back to Chengdu via Kangding and Ya'an.
