Day 02 Chengdu – Yaan – Luding BLD
In the morning drive along Chengdu-Yaan Express Way to Yaan, the famous Rainy City. On the way enjoy the rural scenery in western Sichuan Plain. Highlights of Yaan are Bifengxia Panda Base and Shangli Ancient Town. Bifengxia Panda Base has been long famous for the forest coverage, waterfalls, river and breathtaking landscapes. After the violent earthquake in Sichuan, the panda base in Ya'an became the largest panda reserve in the world, with over 80 giant pandas. There are over 20 research laboratories and feeding centers including Panda Breeding Spots, Panda Kindergarten, Panda Hospital and the Research Centers. Then we drive to Shangli Ancient Town. Old Town of Shangli is called an “ink and Wash Landscape” painting. Situated in the Western Sichuan Basin, the town used to be an important post on the South Silk Road and the Ancient Tea-Horse Trail in history. In the mid afternoon drive crossing the tunnel of Erlang Mountain to Luding, the mountain was traditionally the natural limits of Han Chinese villages and the Tibetan communities. 1N at 3*Ludingqiao Hotel

Day03 Luding – Danba BLD
Drive along the Dadu River to Danba (1900 m). The local people in Danba are called Jiarong (Gyarong) Tibetan. Danba is claimed to be the Kingdom of Thousands of Ancient Blockhouses. Visit of the ancient block towers in Suopo. They were made of clay and block and look fine from outside with solid thick walls. Then visit of Jiaju village. More than one hundred buildings keep the same architectural style with a complete and unique character of Jiarong Tibetan residences. Under the blue sky, the Tibetan residences decorated in red, white and black are strewed at random but also in order from the bottom to the middle slope of the valley. 1N at 3*318 Hotel

Day04 Danba – Bamei – Tagong Si – Xinduqiao – Yajiang BLD
Drive via Bamei, Tagong and Xinduqiao to Yajiang. On the way visit of Tagong Si (Tagong Monastery), where you can have a beautiful panorama of holy Yala Mountain (5820m) in a distance on fine days. Then transfer to Xinduqiao, a small but important town at the juncture of the North and South Sichuan-Tibet Highway. If the weather allows, we can explore the main peak of Mt Gongga (7556m). Late in the afternoon arrive in Yajiang. 1N at simple Yalongwan Hotel

Day05 Yajiang – Litang - Riwa BLD
Drive over the Pass Jianziwan (4658 m) to Litang (4014 m). Arrival in Litang which also known as "highland city". Arrival, visit of Litang monastery lying in the western suburbs of the city. The monastery was originally under the control of the Bon religion but converted into a Gelug Sect monastery in 1580 in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) by the third Dalai Lama. Keep driving over Mt. Haizi Shan and pass by Daocheng to Riwa, where the highlight of this orologi replica journey is - Yading natural reserve, home of three sacred Tibetan mountains - Chenresig (Xiannairi, Avalokitesvara, 6032m), Jambeyang (Yangmaiyong, Manjusri, 5958m), and Chanadorje (Xianuoduoji, Vajrapani, 5958m). The scenery here easily rivals that of national parks of the west such as Yellowstone and Yosemite in terms of spectacle, pristine mountain scenery. 2N at 4*Suntime Hotel

Day06 Riwa – Yading – Riwa BLD
Full day exploration the natural beauty of Yading. Drive 30km to Longlongba – the entrance of Yading Nature Reserve. Start the trekking tour at Chonggu Monastery and next proceed to Xiannairi Mountain with the mysterious Dumu Lake at its mountain foot. Then trek to Luorong Cattle Farm, which is located among Yangmaiyong, Xianuoduoji and Xiannairi Mountains. Finally we go back to Longlongba and drive back to the hotel.

Day07 Riwa – Daocheng – Xinduqiao – Kangding BLD
Drive via Daocheng, Xinduqiao and over Zheduo Shan Pass (4298 m) to Kangding, the capital of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and an  important juncture of Tibetan and Han People in history. 1N at 3*Kalakal Hotel

Day08 Kangding – Luding – Yaan – Chengdu BL
Drive to Luding and crossing through the 4.1 km long tunnel of Mt. Erlang Shan to Yaan. Keep driving along Chengdu-Yaan Express Way back to Chengdu. 1N at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou

Day09 Leave Chengdu B
Transfer to the airport and see off.
