Day01 Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival in Chengdu, capital of province Sichuan, the home town of Panda. Picked up by the local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou Day02 Chengdu – Mt. Emei BLD
In the morning, drive to Mt. Emei. Take the sightseeing bus to Leidongping Bus Station along the 52-kilometer zigzag mountain road. Upon arrival, take the cable car to the Golden Summit. Check in your hotel. And then move to visit the Golden Summit. With an altitude of 3099 meters, if the weather is fine, you will have an amazing view; the verdant forest waves surge along the mountain. Visit of Huanzeng Si Temple and the golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Puxian Pusa). On sunny days, enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Emeishan Jinding Hotel Day03 Mt. Get up early disfraces pokemon and move to the Golden Summit. On sunny days, you can enjoy the sunrise which is one of the four marvelous spectacles: the cloud sea, the sunrise, the Buddhist Halo, and the Magic Lanterns. Day04 Mt. Emei: Golden Summit – Xixiangchi BLD
Hiking from the Golden Summit down to Xixiangchi along the flagging steps. Full day bird watching along the way and around Xixiangchi. Overnight at simple Xixiangchi Guesthouse Day05 Xixiangchi – Xianfeng Temple BLD
Get up early and go birding around Xixiangchi. After breakfast, hike downward to Xianfeng Temple. Full day birding along the way and around Xianfeng Temple. Overnight at simple Xianfeng Guesthouse Day06 Xianfeng Temple – Baoguo Temple BLD
In the morning, birding around Xianfeng Temple. After breakfast, keep hiking downward to Wuxiangang via Jiulaodong, Hongchunping and Qingyinge. Then transfer to the mountain foot. Visit of Baoguo Temple. Overnight at Emeishan Grand Hotel Day07 Emeishan – Leshan – Chengdu BL
Get up early, hike to the forest around Fuhu Temple for birding. Then back to the hotel to enjoy your breakfast, and drive to Leshan. Upon arrival in Leshan visit of the Grand Buddha in Lingyun Temple. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 years of construction. Enjoy the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world (71-meter height). Then boating on Minjiang River to see the front site of the Grand Buddha and the “hidden sleeping Buddha”.
