Mugecuo, another name of Savage’s Sea, meaning uncross insurmountable sea in Tibetan language, lies in Yala Town in Kangding, with the height above sea level of  3，780 m, length of 3 km, max width of 1km, the area of 4 km2, where the largest scaled site of Xianshuihe River fault zone passes by, forming in the long term movements of Xianshuihe River fault zone. The scenic spot are composed by Sea in Seven Colors, Cuckoo's Gorge, Mugecuo Sea, Red Sea and No-named Peak. The association of strange mountains, many plateau lakes, virgin forests, hot springs, snow capped peaks , the peculiar rocks and 8 km -long pile of waterfalls forms the unique and beautiful tourist zone.
Mugecuo Scenic Spot is the only way to No-named Peak and Dapao Mountain, and also the logistic service base of climbing too. It is one of the best routes of such special tours in geography, biology, exploring, customs in pastoral area, etc. from Mugecuo Scenic Spot to Tagong Town. Mugecuo is 26 km away from Kangding.
