Longtan Dissolved Cave is a famous scenic site at the provincial level. It is located in Tanggou Village of Ninghua Township in the north of Miyi County, beside Anning River at the half mountainside of Longzhou Mountain, which has a height of 1500m above sea level. The scenic spot mainly consists of Longtan dissolved caves. Dragon Shout Gorge, Natural Miniature Landscape Garden, Wild Plant Garden, Longzhou Mountain Top Scene constitute a beautiful, unique and elegant natural resort.
Longtan Dissolved Cave is the main scene, composed of huge and deep dissolved caves, including Panjia Dragon Cave 2 km away in the northeast and Green Dragon Cave and Lantern Cave 500 m away in the southeast. In the cave, the landscape is unique and splendid. There are grand and abrupt peaks and changeable spectacles. The stalactites are bright-colored. There are numerous waterfalls in the cave, with great momentum, which is hardly found in other famous caves. It enjoys a fame of “the First Cave of Panxi”. Dragon Shout Gorge has a well-conserved primitive ecology. Branch water flows slowly. Waterfalls are superimposed, with different appearance. The Chinese wistaria interlaces with each other. Birds sing their songs. Wild flowers are brilliant. There are many marvelous stones and elegant trees in natural shapes in Natural Miniature Landscape Garden, which have a high aesthetic value. Common stones and trees cannot compare with them.
