Heizhu Valley Heizhu Valley lies in E’bian Autonomous County; it is a state-level forest park and a nature reserve of Sichuan Province with an area about 575 km2. The valley is grand and dangerous with the topographic feature of complexness. Vegetation there is flourishing, clustering a great deal of sinarundinaria nitida. It is also abundant with rare flowers and strange stones, springs and falls. In this beautiful and mystic entironment, there live numerous wild animals; it is wreathing cloud and mist all the year round with rare traces of human presence, and it is affluent in supernatural legends in addition. All of these make Heizhu Valley very mysterious, and goes by the name of “China Bermuda”. Heizhu Valley has several high mountains and dense forests. Natural sights of sunrise, sunglow, rainbow, Buddhist light and dense fog in the valley are unpredictable and majestic abundant with various postures and colors. Heizhu Valley is in the concentrated living area of Yi where has full-bodied minority custom, and people there are warmly and hospitable, good at both singing and dancing. The valley has not opened up entirely, so it is a good place for jaunt, exploration and scientific research. |
