Spindle Trees Valley of Jinhua is located in Jinhua village 48 km away from Rong County in the southwest, which occupies an area of 10 m2. The valley is a huge coulee in the shape of filler formed by ancient mountain creation movement. The scenery region includes a provincial level nature reserve of spindle trees, hundreds ha of forest with intact vegetation, Red Crags Lake with scores hectares, production base of high quality pears extending scores hectares, and some scenic sights of spindle trees, stalactites and falls.  
In the Spindle Trees Valley of Jinhua, there are four scenery regions: Square Well, Shaluo Lake, Yinpan Mountain and laoshengou, which integrate spindle trees, natural falls, lakes, stalactites, ferns and virgin forest together. The region is considered as “Dinosaurs’ Barn” in former days and “Oxygen Bar” at present. In the valley, more than 20,000 spindle trees have been found, and the spindle tree is the top of eight plants enjoying protection of China at first class.
