Longquan Lake, located in the Shipan Town, Jianyang City, has 24 islands and 12 peninsulas with a total scenery area of 51.1 km² and watery area of 5.5 km².
The main scenic spots in Longquan Lake are: Seven Girl Mountain, Basking Slope, Wadeng Temple and Ten-li Long Gorge, among which the 5,380 m long Ten-li Long Gorge is very attractive in scenery---it adjoins 10 inlets and swings round 12 mountains with both banks passed by with stones of grotesque shape and green grass. You can view many beautiful things when your ship goes through with soft breeze and stretching lippers on the surface. At the Annual Peach Blossom Festival on the Peach Flower Island in the Lake District, all the flowers are vying for beauty and glamour and crowds of butterflies are flying around the flowers. The tourists can land on the island after parking the boats, and wander through the flowers as if facing a dream-like land. As the Chinese saying goes “There’s so much enjoyment that one would forget to go back”.
