Yankou Ancient Town stands on the river bank of Jialinjiang River between Nanchong and Chongqing, which is a famous dock along the river. Ships come and go stop here for a rest, the number of stopping ships can reach one hundred in rush time. Traditional old buildings supported by a square wood rank along the slope with grey tiles and white wall range upon range, extending thousands of meters imposingly. Famous constructions in the ancient town are Shoufu Palace, Yuwang Palace, Zhangye Temple, Guojie Building, Laoguan Temple, Guanyin Pavilion, and Mosque which are engraved decorative pattern. These constructions are upturned eaves and have an air of antiquity.
