The Old Residence of Luo Ruiqing The Old Residence of Luo Ruiqing is located at No. 25, Jiangjun Road in Shunqing District of Nanchong. It is a three-sided house with elegant and primitively style built in the years of Emperor Guangxu’s reign during the Qing Dynasty. It has Chuan-Dou Timber Structure and roof with black tiles. It occupies a land of 2,500㎡ with a construction area of 282㎡. It is located in the west and faces the east. There are three rooms including the front room and two rooms on the two sides, which are used as the exhibition hall and reception office respectively. The relics like photos, pictures, things General Luo Ruiqing used and documents revealing the general’s life can be found in the house. A half-length bronze statue of the strapping General Luo Ruiqing with black eyebrows and fiery eyes is situated in the yard in front of the residence. |
