The site of Red Army's Chuanshan Revolutionary Base The second highest peak in the Kongshangtianpen by the Nuoshui River measures 140m in height and covers an area of approximate 6000 square meters, with steep cliffs and thick woods. There is a huge honeycomb- shaped karsts cave in the mountain, which was jokingly called the “Honeycomb Park” and the characters of “The Second Fairland” was inscribed on the cave wall by ancient people. However, it becomes more popular for its history as the encampment of Red Army in 1933, so it is also called by local residents as the “Hongjunzhai” (Red Army Village). |
