Stone carving of Pingyangfujun Starting from the north gate of Mianyang and 4 km away along the Chuanshan Road, you will find yourself in the Xianren Bridge by the Lotus River. An ancient and imposing stone carving is just in front of you. It is the famous stone carving of Pingyangjun of Han Dynasty which is listed in the Key Culture Relics under State-level Protection. It is also known as Han Que, which is a monument that set up in front of tomb of the lord as a special sign to mark the gate of the “palace”. It is the most intact one among the 23 extant stone carving in China. |
