Pangtong Shrine in Luojiang Being the provincial historic preservation unit, the Shrine (Longfengci) on the Lutou Mountain in the Baimaguan Village, Luojiang County was firstly constructed in the Shu Kingdom and rebuilt in the early period of Qing Dynasty after the destruction by war. There are many buildings in the Shrine, including gate, main hall, two pavilions on both sides, Xifeng Pavilion in which there is a graphic seated statue of Pangtong who was one of the top advisors in the think tank of Shu Kingdom, etc, and two of ancient cypress reputedly planted by Zhang Fei, who was one of major generals in the Shu Kingdom, in the patio of the Shrine. |
