Located in the Commercial Road of Chengdu, the Relic Site of the Boat-coffin Graveyard was the graveyard for the aristocrats in Warring States Period and it was approved by the Chinese central government as the Key Cultural Relics under the state-level protection. It is quite rare in China to see this kind of graveyard with such huge scale and style. The discovery of the site will fill the archaeological blank of Sichuan in the Spring & Autumn Period and provide valuable information for the study of the history, culture, and funeral customs of Ancient Shu Kingdom.
