Ancient Stone Bridge Town was formerly named “Baozhi” and was established by the immigrants from Hubei Province. Later it was renamed after the 6 stone bridges over the Shiqiao River, which flows through the town with solid rocks by two sides. The nostalgic atmosphere is still lingering in the ancient town. Baoshan School, Assembly Halls and four Monuments of Chastity are well preserved. Particularly, the exquisite stone carvings as well as the painted banners left by the Red Army on the Monuments of Chastity can still be seen.
