Day04 Chengdu – Dujiangyan – Mt. Qingcheng BLD
Full day guided tour outside of the city to visit Chengdu's UNESCO World Heritage Site – Dujiangyan Ancient Irrigation System and Mount. Qingcheng, one of the most famous Taoist mountain in the country and the major birthplace of the taoist religion. Dinner tonight will be served at the famous Taoist vegetarian restaurant on Mount Qingcheng. Overnight at guesthouse on Mt. Qingcheng
Day05 Mt. Qingcheng – Chengdu BLD
Enjoy the sunrise on Mount Qingcheng and after breakfast descend the mountain by cable car. Transfer by tour coach back to Chengdu. On the way visit of the "Sichuan Cuisine Museum" in Pixian County to see a chef cooking dishes and have lunch in his restaurant. Drive back to Chengdu. Dinner in a famous Chinese medicinal herb hotpot. Overnight at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou
Day06 Chengdu – Leshan – Mt. Emei BLD
In the morning leave for Leshan. Upon arrival in Leshan visit of the Grand Buddha and Lingyun Temple. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 years of construction. Enjoy the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world (71-meter height). Carved on the cliff face, the sculpture is well designed with perfect balance and effective water drainage system. Take a river excursion to view the huge Grand Sleeping Buddha. Have lunch at a fine local restaurant for the famous Xiba Tofu (Chinese Bean Curd), which comes from Leshan. In the afternoon we head for Mt. Emei, the main ritual place of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and one of the four most celebrated Buddhist mountains in China. After arrival, visit of the impressive 500 Arhats Hall in Fuhu Temple (Temple of Crouching Tiger). Overnight at Teddy Bear Inn
Day07 Mt. Emei – Chengdu BLD
Full day excursion at Mt. Emei before coming back to Chengdu. We will visit Wannian Si (Temple of Longlife), at the waist of the mountain and accessible by cable car. The temple was initially built in 420 and got the present name of Wannian Si (Ten-Thousand-Years Temple) by Emperor Shenzong of Ming Dynasty (1537-1619) who wished to celebrate his mother's birthday and changed the name of the temple in hope of her longevity. The importance of this temple consists not only in its long history and glorious past, but also in being the main ritual place of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. Have lunch at the temple's vegetarian restaurant. Walk down along the zigzagging mountain pass via Qiangyin Pavilion and the "One-Thread-Sky" to Wuxiangang Bus Station. Take tour bus down hill and onwards back to Chengdu. Dinner tonight is a famous hotpot which will be served with spicy (mild-spicy) and non-spicy pots. Overnight at 4*Holiday Inn Express Wuhou
